This workshop aims:
• To discuss the experiences of leaders in applying and financing renewable energy applications with a focus on using the energy generated for water desalination or tri-generation
• To explore possibilities for market creation for renewable desalination in the Middle East and North Africa
• To build partnerships between business leaders and policy makers in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe possibly leading to investment and technology transfer
• To build capacity on planning, financing and implementing renewable energy projects for desalination
